Refund Policy

At Solar Moscow, we stand behind the quality of our solar installation services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for requesting a refund or cancellation of your solar installation contract.
1. Cancellation Before Installation
You may cancel your solar installation contract at any time before our team begins physical installation work at your property. In such cases:
- Full refund of your deposit minus a $500 administrative fee to cover design, permitting, and procurement costs
- Refund processed within 10 business days of written cancellation request
- Cancellation must be submitted in writing to info@solarmoscow.com
2. Refund After Installation Begins
Once our installation team has commenced work at your property, refunds are limited to the following scenarios:
- Equipment Failure: Full refund if solar panels or inverters fail within 30 days due to manufacturing defects
- Installation Defects: Full refund if workmanship issues are discovered and cannot be resolved to industry standards
- System Performance: Partial refund if actual energy production is less than 80% of guaranteed output for 6 consecutive months
3. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Submit a written refund request to info@solarmoscow.com within 30 days of discovering the issue
- Include your contract number, installation date, and detailed description of the problem
- Allow our technical team up to 14 business days to investigate and respond
- If approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days via original payment method
4. Equipment-Specific Refunds
Individual component refunds are handled as follows:
- Solar Panels: 25-year manufacturer warranty covers defects; we handle warranty claims at no cost
- Inverters: Typically 10-12 year warranty; we coordinate replacement or refund
- Mounting Hardware: 10-year warranty against defects and installation issues
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Customer-requested changes or upgrades after contract signing
- Issues caused by customer misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
- Performance issues due to external factors (weather, utility company delays, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear or degradation within expected parameters
